Our Mission:

Educate & Advocate

The Canadian Alliance of Medical Students Against Human Trafficking (CAMSAHT) is the first, student-led anti-trafficking initiative of its kind in Canada. We work to educate all Canadian healthcare professionals about human trafficking through curriculum development, research, and advocacy.

Our Mission

Through medical curriculum development, research, and advocacy, CAMSAHT hopes to improve the health outcomes of trafficking victims in Canada. Our initiatives and research focus on all forms of exploitation, including, but not limited to: forced labour, sexual exploitation, and organ trafficking. We believe in an evidence-based approach to educating healthcare providers about trafficking and encourage trauma-informed practices.
